![]() The EDITOR (standalone - no file) opens with no problem however clicking on an EXISTING FILE to OPEN AND EDIT is where the issue is. SNAGIT EDITOR is set as my DEFAULT image editor and should immediately open when I click on any associated image file. I think you are missing the issue (at least in my case and a number of others). The only thing that resolved the issue was disabling IPV6.īasically, this whole thing is ridiculous and quite obviously they give it little priority as with the entire 2022 fiasco. I have also in the past removed one or the other at the registry level probably 10 times after uninstalling but it didn't matter. Same problem with 2021 (I gave up on 2022 for other issues). I also assume 2001 through 2018 don't either! :D So "empirically" :) this eliminates any updates being the problem. It wasn't since the restored backup did not have the VMWARE install and still had the "slow loading." As usual, turning off IPV6 in network properties removed the issue (didn't see any network related updates anyway). ![]() The only change I did make AFTER THAT BACKUP was install VMWARE PRO which I thought may have been the problem. I manually check 2x a week.so regardless no updates were installed. Problem was back which it should NOT have been because the backup was made while the problem was gone. ![]() I then did a full system restore from my backup just taken 4 hours previous. Sometime Saturday afternoon the problem started AGAIN (been dealing with this with support for 2 months). The next morning (AFTER the backup) it was still fine which meant my 6AM backup was fine. Friday (IIRC, maybe it was Thurs or Saturday) everything was fine. Reason #2: I automatically do a full byte by byte system image of my WIN 11 install using Acronis Backup every morning at 6AM. Please let me know if you have any questions. One thing we have seen help is turning off IPV6 and this article can help you try it Right now there is an activation issue we have confirmed with our 3rd party we use for activation that is causing it to be so slow right now. Well, I have to (IMO) disagree with you for a number of reasons.
